Group 1: POV- Identify the POV of the story. Discuss how this POV impacts you as the reader and the development of the story. How would the story be different if it were told from a different POV? How does this story connect with the big unit question: Is conflict necessary?

 Group 2: Character- Identify the main characters in the story. Indicate which character you most closely identify with and explain why? Indicate which characters are flat, round, stereotypical? What are the motives for the main characters' actions? 4. How do the other characters interact with the main character?

Group 3: Setting- . When and where did the story take place? Are there historical or cultural events that happened at the same time or place as the story? Is the author of the literature making connections between the literary work and real-life?

Group 4: Conflict- Identify all types of conflict found in the story and explain your response.

Group 5: Theme- Identify the theme in the story and use evidence from the story to support your position.

All Groups: Plot- Identify each aspect of the plot found in the story. How does this story connect with the big unit question: Is conflict necessary?
