Choose a Native American tribe and write a short paper about that tribe. You may use the same tribe you chose for American History. Design and make a mask representative of that tribe. If your tribe actually used a mask, feel free to copy and present that mask. If your tribe did not use a mask, use the information you gather on the tribe to design a mask you think they would have worn.When would the mask be used? Who would wear it? What do the colors/decorations on the mask represent? The mask must be totally hand made. You may NOT use store bought masks! You may NOT use sparkles or glitter. Presentation on the tribe and the mask will be done from memory. This assignment is worth two grades.
