Apologies that I am not with you this afternoon. In my absence, please can you complete the following:

SHOWBIE CODE: UV6T9 Kar-Men you will need to join this showbie group to transfer across from the other set :)

1. Please read the pack called 'ANNOTATED Aristotle and Prime Mover' - this is the pack which has my extra notes on - please read through and ensure that you understand, making notes where you would like to ask any questions. 

2. In the blue OCR A Level Year 1 textbook, please read the 'Evaluation of Aristotle' section - apologies that I don't know the exact page - it's around page 28ish?! Essentially flip through the start - go through Plato and get to Aristotle, and then read the paragraphs on evaluating his ideas. Then, using the document on Showbie called 'Aristotle's criticisms' - pick out which you think are the most damning criticisms of Aristotle's work. (like we did for Plato last week).

3. Split into the following groups please:

(a) Lily, Ria, Kar-Men & Olivia

(b) Edie, Aalya & Hazel

(c) Elle, Freya & Samantha

Open the showbie doc called 'Aristotle & Plato Comparisons to do' and flip through to pages 3 & 4 which are evaluation questions comparing Plato and Aristotle's work. In your groups please use the textbook to help you to complete these tables - work together! Each group will present their findings next lesson to the class. The textbook has paragraphs directly relating to these two tables - use it, but do not just copy it!!
