Apologies that I am not in school this afternoon. I am hoping to Teams into our lesson, but I am also putting cover work here to complete just in case, so that at least you can access the lesson if I cannot dial in.

We are looking at the specific theodicies today - a theodicy is a defence of God's existence in the face of evil, and lots of scholars have put forward one of these to show how God can exist whilst evil also exists.

Today we will look at Augustine's theodicy, written in the 5th century. 

Tasks:

1. Read the Textbook information on this (scanned on Showbie, or use the actual textbook in H2). Pages 131-133).

2. Read the 'Theodicy Extra Notes' handout from Showbie - just pages 1+2.

3. Using the 'Wednesday 14th June - TO COMPLETE' slides on showbie, give detailed sentences under each heading on slide 1. Then, in pairs, complete the acrostic on slide 2.

If I can Teams in at 2.40pm, or at some point in the double, I will. Please remain in H2 to complete the work and help each other. Any questions, please email me!
