Apologies that I cannot be with you today. Please can you use this lesson to complete the following work:

1. Finish reading about the migration from Mecca to Medina (Showbie, Islam, no.4 Year of Sorrow, Info sheet: Migration to Medina (hijrah).

2. Finish answering the comprehension questions on page 11 of our class pack.

3. Using the comic strip template, draw and caption the Hijrah (Muhammad's journey to Medina) in the six boxes provided.

4. Now open Folder no.5: The Battle of Badr. Work through the class pack 'Battle of Badr', completing exercises as you go.

5. If time - look at the Battle of Badr writing task and start to make a plan for your response.
