You will be testing your learning of the verbs vouloir, pouvoir and devoir and those 9 key phrases throughout the lesson.

Please work through the remaining pages in 4.2:
  1. Complétez les phrases avec les verbes en parenthèses- choose the right verb and ending to fill in the gaps. You can check with your partner once you have both finished but do not work together.
  2. Traduisez en anglais- write out the translation in English, read it through and make sure it makes sense in English. Again do it by yourself and then check with your partner once you are both finished.
  3. Translate the 6 phrases that all take a part of devoir. Remember the verb following the part of devoir must be in the infinitive.
  4. If time, write about what you have to do at home to help (use the transcript from Monday’s listening to help you structure your réponse along with the sentence builder).
