1. Creative writing task-
Write a page about the origins of your Chimera. This should be in the style of a story, for
inspiration look at Rudyard Kipling's 'Just So Stories'. They were written in 1902 and are a
fantastic collection of stories of how the Leopard got its spots, the camel its hump etc. You
should include the following in your story:
¥ How did your Chimera come to be? What was their evolution?
¥ How many different animals is your chimera made up of? Are any of these combinations
significant?
¥ Does your Chimera have any special powers? Flying, invisible, etc.
¥ Where does it live? What's it habitat? Is it vulnerable? Does it have predators? How
does it survive? What does it eat?
¥ Will your chimera evolve? If so, how? If not, Why? What is its future?
Upload your story onto Showbie, you can type this up or write into your
sketchbooks. Imagination is the only requirement for this task!

2. Do a watercolour of your digital Chimera, if yours was a watercolour one take a photograph, email it to yourself and use the spare computer to print it out. Cut out your coloured in Chimera and photograph in different habitats around school. Upload your photos to Showbie. If you have a printer and originally drew your Chimera into your sketchbook, then take a photo, print out and then cut out.
