Unfortunately I won't be in the lesson tomorrow (12 October). In my absence, please can you continue with the plan for modernising the opening to your fairytale. You will be writing this in the double lesson on Wednesday (13 October). Remember as your are planning to ensure your story contains features of a fairytale. That means ensuring you write in the third person. I also recommend starting with the phrase 'Once upon a time..' as it means your opening is immediately recognisable as a fairytale. If anyone wants to discuss their plan with me before the lesson on Wednesday when you write it, feel free to come and find me in the staffroom as I am in school tomorrow.
