You should have completed the essay planning worksheet for homework. This was focusing on how the writer conveys feelings about childhood in just 'Hide and Seek'. 

During today's lesson I would like you to work through the attached PPT and make notes on the attached worksheet comparing childhood in 'Piano' and 'Hide and Seek' and again for powerful feelings in 'Piano' and 'Hide and Seek'. Once you have made these notes, you then need to read the PPT slides to understand how to write an introduction and then write two introductions - one for each exam question. These should be handwritten on lined paper and I will take these in next lesson. 

If you complete all of this then you must annotate 'Half-Past Two', looking at language, structure, form and poetic devices.
