I'm very sorry that I can't be in the lesson today. Here is what you need to do. It's almost all on One Note.

1) Re-read the section in class notes in the Content Library in Number Types notes (NOT your own notes) on finding the HCF and LCM. I have added in some additional notes to help you understand what is going on.

2) Go to your class work area, Number Types, and do the HCF and LCM practice sheet questions 1-4 ONLY. Follow the method used in the class notes.

3) Go back to the Class Notes in the content library and read the section on squares, cubes and square roots.

4) Go to your class work area, Number Types and do the sheets on Squares, Cubes and Square roots. There are two sheets on one page (the square roots one is underneath).

5) Go back to the Class Notes and read the section on Triangle numbers.

6) Go to your class work area and have a go at the Triangle (and other) numbers sheet. You should start to fill in the sheet literally by counting all the dots for each shape in the diagrams (ignore the colours). Then use any number patterns you can spot to fill in the rest of the table. Finally, have a go at answering the questions - I am interested to see what your observations are, there aren't really "right" and "wrong" answers!

7) If you manage to finish all that lot, which is unlikely, then you can do any of the Number Puzzles in the classwork area, and/or try question 5 on the HCF and LCM sheet .
