Hi Year 10,
I'm sorry I can't be with you today, but I'm pleased that this gives you an opportunity to spend some time recapping everything we have done so far! For cover work, I would like you to complete the following:
  1. Look through the homework from last week, which has been marked (found under section 3). For any question in which you didn't get full marks, see if you can refer to your notes to hone your answer. (If it helps, I have annotated the questions in the content library with the number of marks available).
  2. Finish the 'Covalent PPQ', found under section 5 and started last lesson. When finished, use the mark scheme to mark your work.
  3. Get as far as you can on the questions '5.1 Cover work: Ionic compounds and simple molecular substances PPQ', also found under section 5.
  4. Mark your answers using the mark scheme provided.
  5. If all the above is finished, you can use the lesson time to complete the homework that is due in on Friday.
