In this module, we'll be learning how engineers use data to optimize a design, and we'll be learning about aspects of flight / aeronautical systems. 1) Review the class data (below) and make a your SECOND design.  Remember there should be only ONE modification in the design (substituting printer paper with construction paper or graph paper, OR by substituting the original straw with a longer straw) 3) Throw and collect data to compare with the original. Then enter your SECOND design data in the "Hoop Design Analysis" Google sheet.  Complete the attached document reflecting on what you found your most successful design to be. 4) Watch and complete the EdPuzzle. 5) Using the group data, complete the "Hoop Glider Analysis w/ Decision Matrix" doc; this is homework if not done! 6) Extra time? Try a THIRD glider design or complete 1 slide from the "Airplane Designs" Google Slide set.
