Complete the two 8 markers on sediment cells and geology. Remember you are aiming for around 200 words per answer - don't put a time limit on it at present.

For the sediment cell one, a possible structure would be to break it down by system element and consider whether sediment cells conform - e.g. do they have inputs/outputs of energy and matter, do they have stores, do they have flows, do they have equilibrium and feedback, are they open or closed.

For the geology one, a good three-part structure would be lithology, structure and dip.  Also for the geology one, you may want to hold off until after Thursday's lesson, when we will finish the work on 'geology' as a factor in the workbook.  As suggested on the exam question sheet, you could also study textbook p.25-27 to get some case study ideas to illustrate the points.
