Please complete the 8-marker, using the ideas discussed in the lesson (my notes in Content Library).  Do not write directly into OneNote using your Apple Pencil.  You should use your normal mode of exam working - for most, this will be hand written on A4 paper.  For some, it will be typed.  Upload responses underneath the question sheet.

A three main paragraph structure could work - Malawi, Malaysia, Canada, in each one, say what the pattern is (AO4) then explain why that pattern exists (AO3 - see 'Economic Sectors' worksheet for ideas.  Don't forget to act on Mahika's point - the question is about the differences, so work hard to point out the differences all the way through using comparative language and calculations.  Don't just write three paragraphs that describe and explain the economic sectors of the three countries in isolation from one another.

As I said in the lesson, Edexcel has really tightened up on marking its 'Analyse' questions.  It expects clear judgements made about the relative importance (in this case of factors affecting balance between sectors).  These can be integrated throughout your answer, just by using phrases like 'this is highly important because...'.  A 1-2 sentence conclusion, in which you explicitly state 'In conclusion, I believe that X is the most important factor because...' is also recommended.

Alisa, you asked me a good question about how to start and I didn't give you a great answer as we were leaving - hoe to start.  You can just launch straight into your first paragraph (perhaps on Malawi), but you could have a one sentence AO4 overview statement, which gives a summary of the key idea without going into trend detail.
