Open the link to bring up the world hazards map, which shows you current hazards around the world. You can select hazards in particular categories by using the menu of symbols on the right hand side - click on the symbols to toggle between blue (data displayed on map) and grey (data hidden). This is a nice example of GIS, by the way.

Annotate the global hazards worksheet to give brief details (where, when, damage level, number of affected people (e.g. deaths, injuries, if the information is given) of current hazardous events around the world. Try to find at least one hazardous event in each of the categories in Table 3.1 on p.66 of your textbook (geological, climatic, biological, technological), and make a note of which category each event falls into.

Attached is a screenshot of one from last year so you can see what it might look like (although the events will be different for you because this shows hazards in March 2024).
