Additional Info
Complete the 16 marker about cooling v warming climates. Remember this is 22 minutes of writing time in an exam - maybe 600-700 words, although that will vary between people. Try to stick to the word count, but not the time limit (apart from your 75-90 minutes per week homework).

As discussed, the question dictates that this is a 2-theme structure (cooling and warming). To get AO1, we needs lots of case study detail. To get AO2, consider whether the answer to the question depends on the temporal scale (e.g. what do you think is more important now, has it always been more important, is it becoming more or less important over time); whether the answer depends on spatial scale (e.g. is one more important locally or regionally/globally); is there interaction between cooling and warming climates (e.g. fjord - cooling to create glacial valley, warming to flood it).

Mr Leggett had an idea about glacial till (remember the soft rock that sits on top of FH's chalk?).  Produced by glacial erosion (cooling) but deposited when climate warms and the ice sheets melt.

AO2 should the integrated into each theme, not just in the conclusion. Remember to address the question directly and explicitly all the way through - I.e. you are not just answering a simple question 'explain the influence of cooling and warming climates on landscapes'. You need to actively discuss the 'more important' element.

Conclusion - no new material (AO1), use it to answer the question directly and explicitly in a couple of sentences, summarising the key elements of your AO2 ideas.

Please hand write if you hand write your exam responses, if you type you can word process. Upload responses underneath the planning sheet we looked at in the lesson.
