Please complete the all the Introduction section green box questions (exam style-questions).

Tips for the 3 marker that we didn't discuss in the lesson (the one about a geographical concept)...
  • I would suggest 'brownfield site' or 'regeneration' are the easiest to talk about
  • In your answer, you want to show you know what the concept means and explain why it is relevant to the North Street area of Guildford.

Tips for the 8 marker...
  • Use the table about suitability of study area (the one with the first column 'spatial scale'
  • Use the language of the question to make yourself write evaluatively...'this increases the suitability of the location because...', 'this makes the location highly suitable for our enquiry because...' and so on
  • 8 marks - maybe four factors, with well developed explanations about why North Street is a suitable place
  • As the question is 'evaluate the suitability', you could throw in one of the factors that limits suitability for a bit of balance...'one factor that limits the suitability of the location is...'
Within each question, remember to be consistent in terms of matching hypotheses with background theory and data collection techniques - for example, your you choose the hypothesis about environmental quality for the hypothesis question, there is no point talking about availability of primary data in the form of a structured questionnaire (because that's for the other hypothesis).
