Complete the 8 marker as discussed in the lesson today. Remember the mark balance - 4 for AO4 (use of data) and 4 for AO3 (analysis and explanation).

Suggested structure - two paragraphs. First, try to get the AO4 marks...patterns and trends (and anomalies, if present), raw data and calculations to illustrate them. Compare the 'stories' of countries at different levels of development, as well as considering the overall trends. Second, use your geographical knowledge and understanding to explain the patterns you've just described. This is where you should be referring to lots of geographical processes to give reasons for why developed countries have higher levels (but lower rates) of urbanisation, and why developing/emerging countries are urbanising more rapidly from a lower level.

Timing: in the real exam, this would be 10-12 minutes work, but for now, don't worry about timings at all. Spend your 40 minutes developing your answer and getting familiar with all the question requirements and tips for answering.
