Sorry not to be with you this morning girls.  Please could you use the PowerPoint to complete all parts of the worksheet.  Mostly, the instructions are on the worksheet, but in places you will find additional instructions on the PowerPoint slides (look for the purple boxes).  

For the data response question at the end, remember our principles - main trends and anomalies, data to illustrate (raw data and calculations), and then use geographical ideas to explain the trends.  Bear in mind what makes a hazard - an intense physical event (e.g. a hurricane), plus the presence of people and their infrastructure and economic activity...so if hurricanes become bigger or more frequent, or if more people start to live in harm's way (exposure), then the risk increases.  This can be written as bullet point notes rather than a fully developed prose answer.

Remember that homework (global hazard maps) should be in by now.
