Additional Info
Complete Section 6: Evaluation. There will be times when you feel that you are repeating a lot of what you have already said (especially in the Methods) - don't worry, it's just the way the mark scheme is.
Follow the guidance document on Showbie closely, because it has been designed to tick off the points on the mark scheme. One section of the mark scheme that I think is a bit more implicit in the guidance document, so I'll highlight it here (see attached). You need to demonstrate how you are a better geographer than you were at the start of the process...what knowledge and understanding have you developed about coastal management/risk/mitigation/identity/representation/pace-making/place attachment etc. You also need to demonstrate you your research sits in relation to existing research/geographical theory in your subject area - does it agree or disagree with other ideas? Does it illustrate a concept in a new location or on a different spatial scale? Why is this an important topic/issue to be studying and how has your research enhanced our understanding of it? What are the practical applications of your research?
This can be covered in a single paragraph. You could fit it into the 'Evaluation of Analysis and Conclusions' or you could create a new sub-section (Extension of geographical understanding' or equivalent. Any questions, just ask.
