Go through the 'Managing volcanic hazards' powerpoint in the 'Volcanic hazard management' assignment up to Slide 13.  There will be a few annotations to add round the slides if you can get a copy from someone else.

We will start the earthquake case study booklets (now on Showbie) next week.  We're going to mix things up a little bit, so you will pre-learn a section of the material, do the purple box evaluation note-taking, and teach other people in lesson time.  I will make sure that all important points are covered.  You will work in groups:
