1. At some point in the lesson, Mrs Howitt or Dr Laurie will probably give you the landforms checkpoint assessment to do.  This is in the familiar format - MQCs, matching terms and definitions etc - and will be done on paper.  Please upload scans to the 'Assessment' assignment in Showbie>Coasts.

2. Go into Assignment '6. Human Activity in Coastal Systems'.  Read, highlight and annotate the 'Why do we need coastal management' document and then open the 'case study of intentional change - Sandbanks' document.  Use p.34-36 of big yellow textbook (on Showbie or hard copies in M8) to annotate the base map to build up your case study.  Use different colours to distinguish between background info, processes, need for management and management techniques (see key at top of page).  Don't worry about Slide 2 (the table).
