Review the work covering syllabus section 6.1 for a short (15 minutes) knowledge recall assessment:

  • World patterns of urbanisation
  • Processes of urbanisation
  • Megacities
  • Problems of rapid urbanisation
The assessment will be all multiple choice questions, single word answers, fill in the blanks etc.

Please spend your 40 minutes on this and no longer - the result carries no wider significance.  In the past, we have found that girls have struggled to cover all the content as they would wish to when revising for the big end of unit tests (end of November/start of December for this unit), so we build in these little, low stakes knowledge checks at natural checkpoints in the unit.  To give you a chance to review content and consolidate understanding.  And doing the assessment is part of that process as well.
