I hope you all had a lovely holiday. Unfortunately I am ill at the moment, so you will have a cover teacher today.

Please complete the following work:

1. Read through the "Chapter 3 Revision list" in the "Revision" folder. We will have an assessment on Chapter 3 next Thursday. There is nothing else you need to do at the moment as we will do revision together in class.

2. Start the new Chapter - "4.1 School subjects"

Work your way through the slides:

Slide 1: Take an educated guess what these school subjects are and write them in English 

Slide 6: read through the information

Slide 11: look at the pictures and school subject names and translate them into English (use Leo if needed)

Slide 13: odd one out

Slide 14: look at the opinion phrases and translate them into English

Slide 16: conjugate the verb "lesen" - careful it's irregular - you might want to use Leo for help

Slide 17: match up the English and German opinion words (use Leo if necessary)

Slide 18: you can check your answers here!

Slide 19: translate the text into English (using the vocab from slide 18)

Slide 20: reading comprehension

3. if you have any lesson time remaining, go onto Quizlet and practice Chapter 3 vocabulary.
