1. Watch the extracts from Edward ScissorHands and The Nightmare Before Christmas (if possible) and make notes on any interesting musical features. Use Page 5g to access the links.

2. Write 10 extended sentences on Batman Returns that include Wider Listening references. Try to spread the sentences across the musical elements and the 4 different cues that we have studied. Wider Listening references may be from the two films listed above or any of the others on the wider listening document (Page 4b on One Note).
