I am sorry but I won't be in your lesson today which means we will need to move the class concert to next week instead so please come prepared then.

Please continue with and finish your Aeolian mode composition on Sibelius. Refer back to my notes and instructions on the content library in Onenote (3. Modes - 3. Aeolian composition)

Make sure you have at least 8 complete bars (including dynamics and articulation etc). You could extend this to 16 bars if you wish.

Further extension - extend your piece into Ternary form by composing a contrasting section in the middle.

Important note:  If the technology/Sibelius causes you any problems today, just leave the composing task (we will find time to complete it at another point) and instead create an informative and exciting powerpoint on the musical features of the 20th century. This could include pictures and/or youtube clips of good examples.
