Sorry I can't be with you this morning. You are going to start the Debussy set work

Please complete the following tasks (you can also find this information on Page 5 in he Debussy set work folder):

• Watch the Yale lecture 21 video on Page 1. Audio tracks and videos. You can stop before the piano performance at the end if you want to or watch the whole thing - it's up to you.

• As you watch the video, write a list of Impressionist musical features which we may find in our Debussy set work

• Listen to both of our Debussy movements (Estampes No 1 and Estampes no. 2) found on Page 1. Audio tracks and videos whilst following the scores (which you can find in your score folders in MU4 or on Page 2. Score with questions) and find some examples of these Impressionist musical features.

• Make a note of these features and be ready to discuss on Friday
