Read about barnacle niches (Realised niche is the real-world niche), and transfer the three RED labels from the library (and read them carefully!) , then scroll right to watch the two barnacle videos (start with the second one).  Finally look at the barnacles living at different heights on the rock and explain why the brown species Chthalamus has a real niche that only allows it to live at the top of the rock when the blue species is present, whereas by itself it could in theory cover the whole rock. 

Finally a good step would be to go read the pages in your text book, as written at the top of 2.1 :)
