2.3 Worksheets on Osmosis. On this page at the top is (in red writing) a worked example. Hint, M is a unit that measures the molarity, the concentration, of a solution; 3M is a more concentrated solution than 1.5 M.  Ask yourself ‘where is the highest WATER concentration?’  In this case the highest water concentration is inside the cell, so water will move out and the cell will shrink.
