Read pages 510 and 511 of your text book (Section 20.3 Gene regulation), and add any extra notes that you would like to help illustrate this new concept of promoters to your lesson 14.3 notes. Do not worry that the text book has the receptor in the cytoplasm and not in the nucleus, it is the principle that matters :) . Plenty of sources have the receptor in the nucleus
