Section 1 (Synoptic Questions): Answer either the Disease question or the Hazards question (12 marks)

Section 2 (Essay Questions): Answer either the Disease question or the Hazards question (33 marks)

You must answer one Disease question and one Hazards question Ð if you answer the Disease synoptic, you must answer the Hazards essay; if you answer the Hazards synoptic, you must answer the Disease essay.

This format does not replicate the format of the proper exam, which you saw in your mock. In the real exam you will have to answer a synoptic and an essay question for both Disease and Hazards. In the real exam, you will choose your one Disease essay and your one Hazards essay from a choice of two per topic, whereas in the mini mock there will only be one per topic.

Suggested timings: Synoptic question (17 minutes), essay question (45 minutes).
