Print out or write out the lyrics to any song you like. Identify the poetic elements in the song (simile, metaphor, symbolism, personification, etc..) Be sure to choose songs that are appropriate. 

Read the Paul Laurence Dunbar’s “We Wear the Mask” posted in Resources. Analyze the poem  by writing down what message you think Dunbar is conveying in each stanza. In other words, write a summary( your personal opinion) of each stanza in the poem.
