Students in need of extra points on their exam will complete the following essay question. Each response should be three to four paragraphs in length. This assignment needs to be typed (Times New Roman, double- spaced, font 12) printed out and handed in on Tuesday at the beginning of class. If you are having technical difficulties, utilize the school's resources on Monday. Do not wait until the last minute to complete this assignment. 

The ancient River Valley Civilzations of Egypt, Mesopotamia, India and China have all made key contributions to future societies. Choose one of the four ancient civilizations, identify one of their contributions and discuss its relevance in today's society.
