Print out the lyrics to your favorite song and complete the following tasks:

1. Identify all of the poetic elements (use the poetry vocabulary sheet we reviewed in class)

2. Identify all nouns (common, proper, abstract, concrete, possessive, collective)

Note: You can print out the lyrics and identify the poetic elements and nouns on the paper or you can save the lyrics on your iPad and identify the elements on a separate sheet of paper.
