Apologies for the delayed upload, here are instructions following the homework I set in Wednesdays Lesson.

ASSESSED WORK 3. Casting /10.

In your sketch book, you are to generate a page explaining the casting process that you have learnt (you can look back over the Showbie lesson presentation)

Give a brief overview of how to generate your template on 2D Tech Soft 

Explain how to manufacture your mould and assemble 

Describe the casting process on the brazing hearth, What H&S aspects do you need to consider? 

Mention the finishing process of piercing, filing and polishing. 

Include some simple sketches to follow the steps.
