Please complete a sketchbook page (pages, if you would like to do 2) of initial sketches and design ideas (15 ideas). These should be quick thumbnail sketches, taking 1 minute each. You may wish to plan your timing by letting you have less time to begin with and more time to develop certain ideas.

Think about developing your pattern page further, make some more rubbings and drawings over rubbings. Pick out the details from these for your sketches. All of these are ways of generating design ideas.

This first section should take 15-18 minutes

Please spend 2-3 minutes labeling your work, annotating the scale (in mm) and any likes or dislikes.
