Additional Info
Hi Girls,
Sorry that I cannot be with you today- I am on Bushcraft!
Below is what I would like you to complete in my absence:
- In 01 Philosophy, please complete the Loch Ness monster Truth Table. Have a look at the first row that I have completed, so that you know what you are aiming for. You need to provide evidence for and against the existence of the Loch Ness monster (For example, rational evidence or indirect evidence), which someone who believes in it could put forward. For the rational box, try to think creatively about a logical argument that could be cited. Be careful that this argument does not fall into the empiricism category e.g. reliant on senses. Re-read the definitions of all of the terms before you start and the slug example, and think very carefully.
- Next, please infer/look up the meanings of the 'omni' terms and write a brief definition for each.
- Consider below what problems are raised by each of these characteristics. Brainstorm this with your partner and jot them down.
- If you have finished this work, go onto 02 Aquinas and read through Aquinas' 1st Proof for the existence of God (3rd page). Brainstorm some answers to the yellow box.
Best of luck,
Miss Hiley
