Hi girls,

As I mentioned in the lesson, please do some research on Aquinas’ Proofs 1-4, making sure that you understand each argument. Once you have done this, summarise them in your own words and then write down at least 1 supporting argument for each proof and 1 against, developing your explanation. Use further research to do this. I’ve also scanned some reading which is on showbie in The ‘Aquinas’ Five Proofs Research’ folder. Also note that I have put a page on Aquinas’s Third Way on there. This employs a different definition of ‘contingent’ and is probably easier to understand so please read that. 

This will be the first homework for your extended project this half term, so do use this time wisely in order to spread out the workload.

Type up/scan your notes and upload them to the ‘Five Proofs Research’ folder for Tuesday morning 8:30am.
