Hi Girls,

Sorry that I cannot be with you today.

In my absence, please go to 'The Pillars of Islam' folder within Topic 10. This is the beginning of our topic on the 5 pillars of Islam.

Firstly, try to complete the Do Now task. I will provide you with answers on this tomorrow.
Read through the slides, but ignore the video task. We will do this tomorrow.
See if you can fill in the grid of the 5 pillars, through independent research and then think about the various questions on the slides, writing down your answers.
Try to fill in the gap of the Shahadah, which is the declaration of faith in Islam. Answer the question of 'Why is a statement of faith important?' by jotting down some ideas.
Keep reading through the PowerPoint and have a go at the written task on the last page. This should be roughly a paragraph.
If you finish all of this, start revising some of the earlier topics.

If you are confused about anything, just note down your queries and we will go through this tomorrow.
