Hi Girls,

Go to Topic 04 'John the Baptist' and click on the 'Baptism of Jesus Task' folder. Read through the annotated slide that I have put on there. 

Then, complete the creative writing task on Jesus' baptism:  

  • Imagine that you are an onlooker, watching John the Baptist baptise Jesus. 
  • Use the Matthew 3 text and all the info on the slide to record what you saw/heard. 
  • Make sure to include lots of emotion. 
  • You might also want to include whether you, as the onlooker, think that Jesus is the Messiah/John is the second Elijah.
